Does anyone have any idea on who the 3rd player that we are trying to sign & what position he plays in, The talk is that it might be difficult & could be a very late signing if it comes off.

Yes. I’d shit myself in excitement if they get it done. Genuinely.

He is an attacking player. Someone that can do something out of nothing.

However, priority is to get Millar and Osmajic through the door and then ‘hopefully’ get this third one in.

If we get both Millar and Osmajic through the door it will be an excellent window. But if we get this third one in, get your hotels booked for Wembley lads and lasses 😂

Again, it’s just rumours, but it’s exciting to actually have rumours about good, exciting players rather than Conor Wickham and Jamie Thomas!

Leicester City are set to sign Everton’s wanted man Tom Cannon in a deal worth £6 million and rising.

The Foxes saw off a stunning late move from Preston who offered around £5 million and topped Middlesbrough’s offer for the young striker.

An extraordinary race took a twist when Leicester made a late entry, with both Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho possible departures.

Cannon played half a season on loan at Preston last season and made a big impression. So much so that almost half of the division have tried for him.

Boro hoped to clinch a deal and moved fast ahead of Sunderland who also want Cannon as Ross Stewart heads off for talks with Southampton.

Preston also put together an offer but Leicester’s cash was enough to win the day.

Unbelievable we bid £5m for him even if Leicester do get him. Wonder how much game time he’ll get there

This only means anything if we are prepared to break our transfer record to sign a striker today. If there was £5m for Cannon there has to be in the region of £2m for another striker.

£5 million?!?!?! Bloody hell.

Better spend that £5 million today then.
