It shows the owners up as the buffoons that they are, Tom. Imagine spending £7m on a 'project' signing, that player rising to International fame and instead of cashing in on that, you just let him walk away for nothing. Idiocy. No other word for it.

Add him to Nyambe, Lenihan and Rothwell walking away for nothing too. Yet they are trying to sell this project under JDT as being one where players are going to be developed, sold on and funds re-invested with the aim of making Rovers a sustainable Premier League club.
